Overview:
In this transformative training, we’ll take a deep dive into the true nature of anger-exploring it not just as an emotion, but as a powerful surge of energy with specific triggers and messages
Participants will learn to recognize the energetic charge of anger in themselves and others, and practice techniques to calm and center their nervous systems in real time. From that grounded place, they’ll learn guidelines for expressing anger assertively and professionally-without aggression or repression-and how to receive another’s anger without becoming a passive target.
We’ll close with practical, actionable strategies for supervisors to confidently navigate and de-escalate anger in their staff, turning conflict into an opportunity for clarity, connection, and growth.
Why should you Attend:
Anger management is rarely addressed in school or the workplace, yet how we manage it-both our own and others'-can profoundly impact our careers, relationships, and overall well-being.
When anger is seen as a threat, our instinct is to defend, withdraw, or push back. This only deepens disconnection and fuels conflict. But when we learn to recognize anger as a signal-an invitation to listen, understand, and engage more deeply-it becomes a powerful tool for building trust, resolving issues, and strengthening human connection.
Areas Covered in the Session:
- What is anger
- Distortions of anger
- Relaxing under pressure
- Guidelines for communication and receiving anger
- Steps and strategies for dealing with an angry staff member
